The journal does not accept submissions of works that have been previously published, either in whole or in part, in other journals or editorial outlets. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, or data manipulation are considered serious violations of editorial standards and result in rejection or retraction of the publication, as appropriate. Publication policy and periodicity
The Revista Digital da Faculdade São Vicente adopts a continuous publication model, with two annual issues corresponding to the periods of June and December. Approved articles are published as soon as the editorial process is completed, without the need to wait for the closure of a full issue. This model provides greater agility in the dissemination of scientific knowledge and ensures that content is made available to the public in the shortest possible time. Each published article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring its traceability and long-term preservation.
Digital preservation
To ensure permanent access and preservation of published content, the Revista Digital da Faculdade São Vicente is integrated into the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which uses LOCKSS technology for decentralized digital archiving. In compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the names and addresses provided by authors, reviewers, and readers are used exclusively for services related to the publication process. These data will not be shared with third parties or used for purposes other than those required for the operation of the journal.
Anti-plagiarism policy
All manuscripts submitted to the Revista Digital da Faculdade São Vicente undergo rigorous similarity checks using tools such as iThenticate. Texts with a high degree of overlap without proper citation or referencing are immediately rejected, ensuring the academic and scientific integrity of the publication.
Retraction, Corrections and Updates policy
The journal is committed to correcting, when necessary, errors identified after the publication of articles through errata, corrections, or retractions, depending on the nature of the error. These procedures are carried out in accordance with COPE guidelines and aim to preserve the scientific integrity of the journal. Typographical or formatting errors that do not compromise the overall understanding of the content are corrected without the need for a formal retraction.
