Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines

The Revista Digital da Faculdade São Vicente accepts original manuscripts exclusively in Portuguese, addressing themes related to the fields of Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, and Health Sciences. Submitted texts must be unpublished, must not be under simultaneous review by another journal, and must strictly comply with the ethical principles of scientific publishing. The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily reflect the opinions or positions of the journal.

Manuscript structure

Manuscripts must be organized according to the following structure:

  • Title: in Portuguese

  • Author(s): full names, e-mail address, ORCID, and institutional affiliation

  • Abstract: up to 250 words, followed by keywords (3 to 5 terms)

  • Main text: divided into the following sections:

    • Introduction

    • Theoretical Framework

    • Methodology

    • Results and Discussion

    • Final Considerations

  • References: in accordance with ABNT NBR 6023:2018 standards

Formatting

Manuscripts must comply with the following formatting specifications:

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 3 cm (top and left); 2 cm (bottom and right)

  • Alignment: justified

  • Paragraph indentation: 1.25 cm

  • Direct quotations longer than three lines: 4 cm indentation, font size 10, without quotation marks

  • Tables and figures: numbered, centered, with captions (above tables and below figures)

  • Author limit: up to 6 authors per article

  • Length: manuscripts must contain between 12 and 20 pages

References

References must be organized in alphabetical order, in accordance with ABNT NBR 6023:2018, with single spacing and separated by a blank line. Only works cited in the text should be included in the reference list.

Ethics and originality

All manuscripts are subject to originality verification using plagiarism-detection software. Texts presenting excessive similarity will be rejected. In the case of research involving human subjects, authors must inform the approval number issued by the Research Ethics Committee.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in rejection during the initial editorial screening. Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully read the journal’s editorial policy and to use the article template available for download in the Author Guidelines section, ensuring full compliance with the specific requirements established herein.
